Pointstreak 5050 brings its innovative electronic charitable raffling platform to Tampa Bay golf fan

Copperhead Charities and Pointstreak 5050 (formerly 5050 Central) are partnering at this weekend’s Tampa Bay Championship presented by EverBank to utilize Pointstreak 5050’s electronic raffling platform to increase the tournament’s fundraising efforts and offer additional on-site excitement to Tampa area golf fans.   Direct beneficiaries of charitable proceeds will include the Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation and The First Tee of Clearwater.  Tickets will be sold at stationary selling areas behind the 18^th green and 10^th tee as well as by mobile sellers roaming the Innisbrook Copperhead golf course. 

Tournament Director Kevin Krisle commented, “Copperhead Charities has a great track record in raising money for worthy local organizations so partnering with Pointstreak 5050 gives us a fun and effective way to raise even more charitable dollars.  The virtual turn-key nature of their system made it an easy decision for us.”  To enable fans to easily follow updated raffle totals, Pointstreak 5050 created a dedicated microsite that fans can access on their smart phones and follow throughout the tournament.

Cary Stiff, Senior Vice President of the The Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation, observed, “We are always looking for innovative ways to help our kids and this unique 50/50 raffle platform is a terrific fit.  The money we raise this week will directly help both our Academy and The First Tee program.”  In addition to the Tampa Bay Championship presented by EverBank, Pointstreak 5050 will be rolling out its platform at several other professional golf events throughout the year.
