Pointstreak 5050 Names Kevin Lovitt as President

Toronto, ON – Pointstreak 5050 is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Kevin Lovitt as the company’s new President. Pointstreak 5050 was recently acquired by Pointstreak Sports Technologies Inc. (“Pointstreak”) and one of the first priorities was to name Mr. Lovitt as the company’s President. Mr. Lovitt had been working as a consultant to Pointstreak for the past 8 months during which he assisted Pointstreak in many aspects of its operations including the acquisition of the company.

Before becoming President of Pointstreak 5050, Mr. Lovitt held the position of Director, Corporate Sponsorship with the National Hockey League Players’ Association where he was responsible for all corporate relationships as well as all joint NHL/NHLPA partnerships in the United States and Canada. Mr. Lovitt has over 15 years of experience in the sports industry at his own firm, The Integis Group and at two of the largest sports management companies, Octagon Worldwide and IMG. At Octagon, he managed all areas of Octagon’s Properties and Sponsorship business and while at IMG, he was responsible for founding and managing IMG’s Franchise and Properties practice working with a number franchises in the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL.
Mr. Lovitt holds a B.A. degree from Brown University, an M.B.A. degree in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a J.D. degree from the Pace University School of Law. He played hockey at Brown University from 1977-81 achieving All-Ivy honors and served as Brown’s captain during his senior season. After graduation he played in the Hartford Whalers’ minor league system before beginning his professional career in the business of sports.
