Gaming Nation’s 5050 Central Appoints David Bertram to Spearhead NCAA Expansion

Toronto, ON – May 8, 2017: 5050 Central Ltd. (“the Company”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gaming Nation Inc. (FAN-TSXV), is pleased to announce that David Bertram of Bertram Marketing Group has joined the Company to assist in expanding its footprint within the collegiate sports landscape.
Through his vast experience and connections within the NCAA market, Mr. Bertram will support 5050 Central in facilitating new partnerships with NCAA schools. 5050 Central’s digital 50/50 raffling platform provides NCAA schools with the ability to drive new fundraising revenues for institutional initiatives both academically and athletically.
Mr. Bertram previously held the position of Vice President of Campus Marketing and Digital Media for the University of Kentucky (UK) Sports & Campus Marketing with JMI Sports. During that time, he secured nearly $30 million in long-term contracts by bringing in multiple new partners to the UK Total Campus Marketing program.
Prior to his time with JMI Sports, Mr. Bertram held the title of CEO of Volar Video, a digital video technology company providing the ability to broadcast and distribute digital content at a limited cost. Mr. Bertram also previously spent time as an instructor of Sports Marketing at the University of Kentucky.
