A recent winner of the Timberwolves Split Raffle was thankful for winning because of the recent financial strain he was under while on jury duty that had lasted two weeks. The young man was at the game with his father, who purchased the tickets, and when his ticket number was called, the young man was more than thrilled he had won! According to the young man, his recent economic distress had put him in a difficult situation and the winnings from the split raffle alleviated some of the strain.

Over $30 million raised for charities in 2014!

Using the Pointstreak 50/50 platform, our partners raised a combined $30,505,107 for their respective charities in the 2014 calendar year. 2015 promises to be even better!

50/50 TIPS

Spreading the word: This is the most important part of 50/50 raffle sales. You should have greeters either just inside or outside the entrance gates telling every person/fan that comes into the building to "make sure to get your 50/50 tickets because the pot is going to be huge (or $X)" and to "get them before the lines get long". This is more important than having more units or sellers. Let everyone know there is a 5050 raffle and they need to get their tickets. Also, have the people in front of the kiosks and those roaming the concourses to tell people about the size of the pot.
