St. Louis Rams to Partner with Pointstreak 5050 to Bring Gameday Raffle to Fans

ST. LOUIS, MO - The St. Louis Rams have announced an exciting new addition to the game-day experience at the Edward Jones Dome. When the St. Louis Rams take to the field for their pre-season opener at the Edward Jones Dome tomorrow night August 8, they will do so with a new partner: Pointstreak 5050.

 

The St. Louis Rams Foundation is teaming up with Pointstreak 5050 to deploy an innovative electronic 50/50 raffling system that will help raise charitable funds for charities around St. Louis. The Rams plan to sell the raffle tickets in some pre-game tailgate areas, and through electronic handheld devices and portable printers, along with stationary selling kiosks and terminals situated around the Edward Jones Dome. As tickets are sold, updated raffle jackpot totals will be displayed throughout the stadium, as well as at www.stlouisrams.com/5050 where fans will have additional opportunities to win game-worn and autographed jerseys from the Rams top players.
 

"Community service and fan engagement are two of our organizational priorities," said Molly Higgins, vice president of corporate communications/civic affairs, St. Louis Rams. "With the 50/50 raffle, we are able to bring those two objectives together and offer something fun for our fans, while raising money to support our community outreach efforts and expanding our ability to impact lives and create memories through our various charitable efforts."  
 

Fans have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets until the end of the 3rd quarter, with a winner announced early in the 4th quarter. One lucky supporter will win half of the evening's net proceeds, with the remaining balance going directly to the Rams Foundation and their support of local charitable organizations.

 

Bart Kendall, Sr. VP of Pointstreak Sports Technologies, added, "We have put a lot of thought and effort into developing technology that helps organizations like the Rams Foundation achieve their community outreach goals. For example, the capability to offer fans a 2nd chance prize drawing on the Rams website will not only give fans a way to access raffle information on their phones, but will also give the Rams insights into who their raffle ticket buyers are provide additional opportunities to reach them."
