-Inaugural raffle program raises money for local non-profits and sees three fans walk away winners-
Nashville, Tenn. (October 15th, 2013) – The Nashville Predators Foundation is proud to debut the Nashville Predators Foundation’s Smashville’s Golden Giveaway at Nashville Predators home games through January 20, 2014. Future Golden Giveaways will provide select non-profit organizations an opportunity to raise funds at future Nashville Predators hockey games and select Bridgestone Arena events.
Beginning on October 15, 2013, tickets for the Nashville Predators Foundation’s Golden Giveaway will be sold at every Nashville Predators home game culminating in a drawing on January 20, 2014. One lucky fan will win 50 percent of the net proceeds of the raffle with the remainder benefiting the Nashville Predators Foundation.
Tickets will be sold in groups of three for $5 at each Nashville Predators home game and select Bridgestone Arena events before the January 20th drawing. Sales begin when the doors open.
“We are excited to launch Smashville’s Golden Giveaway as a way to generate funds for local non-profits and reward one lucky fan as a big jackpot winner. Dozens of other major league teams run similar programs with innovative technology and the Nashville Predators Foundation looks forward to working with local charities to assist with their fundraising efforts,” said Nashville Predators President Sean Henry.
Smashville’s Golden Giveaways benefiting Rocketown and Best Buddies are also planned for later in the season.
