University at Buffalo Blue & White Fund Signs On With 5050 Central

Toronto, ON – August 21, 2017: 5050 Central Ltd. (“the Company”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gaming Nation Inc. (FAN-TSXV), is pleased to announce that the Company has reached an agreement with the University at Buffalo Activities Foundation, Inc., the associated foundation of the University at Buffalo (UB), as well as the Blue & White Fund (BWF).
The BWF will implement 5050 Central’s digital raffle platform at various UB Athletics events starting this season. UB competes in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) with their football team competing in the NCAA D1 Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS).
At Buffalo, the Blue & White Fund is the fundraising arm of UB athletics that supplies athletic and educational opportunities to over 400 student athletes in 16 intercollegiate sports. They are proud of what they have created and understand that to achieve continued success, it is necessary to continuously invest in their student athletes and their facilities. Every gift to the BWF allows them to do this by providing resources which will go directly to the area with the greatest need. In addition, they are able to address these priorities and impact their program in an immediate and positive way. They are there to provide their student athletes with a remarkable collegiate experience both on and off the fields/courts of play.
“UB Athletics and the Blue & White Fund are extremely excited to be partnering with 5050 Central in bringing new life and energy to our game day 50/50 raffles,” said Megan Reed, Assistant Athletic Director for Development of the University at Buffalo. “When we looked at the number of professional teams and collegiate athletic programs that were already clients of 5050 Central – especially in our own backyard with the Bills and Bisons already utilizing them, it was a no brainer to jump on board. The funds generated from these raffles will support our student athletes on so many levels. Plus, this will provide our donors, alumni and fans a new avenue to provide direct support and have an immediate impact.”
