Gaming Nation’s 5050 Central Extends Agreement with the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation

Toronto, ON – February 28, 2017: 5050 Central Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gaming Nation Inc. (FAN-TSXV), is pleased to announce that the Company has extended their agreement with the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation (or “the Foundation”) by agreeing to a multi-year extension.
The Penguins Foundation and 5050 Central have worked together since 2013 to raise and donate over $4,000,000 for community initiatives and charitable endeavours, with the proceeds from 50/50 raffles conducted at Pittsburgh Penguins home games and events.
The Foundation donates half of the net raffle proceeds to 501c3 charitable organizations in two phases during the hockey season. Phase one of the 2016-2017 season recently concluded, with the Foundation donating $527,400 to over 42 charities. The second phase of donations will occur at the conclusion of the Penguins season.
The mission of the Penguins Foundation is to actively promote physical well being, encourage teamwork, stress the value of education and provide essential life skills to young people in their community through youth hockey and other activities.
