Crew Soccer Foundation Adopts Electronic Raffle System in Support of At-Risk Youth

Columbus, OH - The Crew Soccer Foundation has announced that it will team up with Pointstreak 5050 to enhance the Columbus Crew game day experience through an electronic 50/50 raffle system. The system will be available for the Crew’s first home match on March 22 and proceeds from the raffle will benefit Crew Soccer Foundation programming for at-risk youth.
The Pointstreak 5050 system will enable raffle tickets to be sold through mobile sellers utilizing electronic handheld devices, portable printers, and a number of stationary selling terminals around Crew Stadium. Updated raffle jackpot totals will be displayed in real time on the main scoreboard and LED ribbon, as well on a dedicated microsite where fans can follow along at home.

Fans have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets in some tailgate areas before the game and in the stadium when gates open. Tickets will be sold through halftime with a winner being announced at the 60th minute of the second half. One lucky fan will win half of the evening's net proceeds.
