Pointstreak 5050 returns to Valspar Championship looking to build upon last year’s raffle

Toronto, ON - Pointstreak 5050 and Copperhead Charities are partnering again at the upcoming Valspar Championship PGA TOUR event on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort. The Pointstreak 5050 electronic charitable raffling platform debuted at last year’s event and was a big hit with Tampa Bay area golf fans. Once again, the Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation and The First Tee of Clearwater will be the direct beneficiaries of raffle proceeds. In a new twist this year, 50/50 tickets will not only be available during tournament week on the Innisbrook Copperhead tournament course grounds, but will be sold for a month leading up to the event at the Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club in nearby Clearwater, FL.
Tournament Director Kevin Krisle observed, “Last year’s program helped raise meaningful dollars for the Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation, and we believe the growth of the Pointstreak 5050 system and familiarity of the Tampa Bay sports fans seeing the system at Rays and Lightning games will have an impact in generating additional dollars for a terrific local charity.” To help fans follow the growing raffle pot totals in real time over the course of tournament week, Pointstreak 5050 has developed a dedicated microsite, www.ps5050.com/chichi that fans can access on their smartphones and computers.
